MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Crossett High School joins week 10 of the Downs Law Firm Cheerleader Challenge .

We have another new team this week, and these girls are flying like eagles.

Three seniors and leaders on the squad share their hopes for the challenge and why they believe people should vote for them.

Zaelyn Gill says, “I want them to remember that the things that they do now will affect them positively in the future. So making good decisions and putting your best foot forward will help you succeed in the things that you want.”

Kenedi McElroy says, “I love the friendship and the bond, the everlasting bond that these girls will give us and create with us for the rest of our lives. And it really gives us a safe space to come to at the end of the day when it’s not always the best.”
