MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - The woman who allegedly stabbed and killed her partner and cut off his genitals was found incompetent to stand trial.
Judge Jeremy Chaffin announced the outcome for Shenting Guo in court on Friday.
Guo had a second competency hearing last month, as there were conflicting results of two competency evaluations. However, both officials agreed that she is on the schizophrenia spectrum.
Guo will be back in court on Dec. 5.
The original incident occurred on May 14, 2024, when she allegedly murdered her boyfriend, Dustin Nalls, at Woodspring Suites, 659 Market St. in Grand Junction.
