CORBIN — Corbin Middle School is known for repeatedly ranking as one of the top schools in the state. This year they were ranked #5 by U.S. News & World Report . This remarkable feat can be contributed to many factors, one of which is the school’s amazing teachers.

One of those teachers is Bart Elam, an 8th grade Math teacher at Corbin Middle School. Mr. Elam’s classroom is fun and engaging, using technology and other tools to help his students comprehend while he teaches. When he lectures, it is more like a back-and-forth rapport as he asks them questions and skillfully leads them to the answers.
