The Peterborough Petes played with the country’s best team and proved to themselves they can beat them.
The Petes snapped an 11-game losing streak against the CHL’s No. 1 ranked and OHL’s first place Brantford Bulldogs on Thursday night. Adam Novotny’s second goal with 1:28 left in overtime propelled the Petes to a 4-3 triumph before 2,723 Memorial Centre patrons.
