SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — An original, handwritten copy of the Gettysburg Address is on display for a limited time at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM).

The display is part of ALPLM's new exhibit centered around Abraham Lincoln.

To give more people the opportunity to see the famous document, admission to the museum will be free on November 19, aligning with the 162nd anniversary of Lincoln delivering the address.

Historians will also host free Q&A sessions about the Gettysburg Address at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on November 19, 20 and 21.

The address will be on display in the exhibit through December 1 before being replaced by a signed copy of the Emancipation Proclamation.
