A 20-year-old Newmarket man was charged with stunt driving after police said he was travelling at almost double the speed limit on the Hanlon Parkway in Guelph.
Wellington County OPP said on Tuesday, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers stopped the man more travelling more than 75 kilometres an hour over the 80 km/h speed limit.
Besides stunt driving, the man was charged with speeding.
A stunt driving charge brings an automatic 14-day vehicle impound and a 30-day licence suspension.
The man is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court on a later date.
