FARGO, N.D. (KFYR) - A West Fargo man accused of threatening to kill the president and the director of the FBI made his initial appearance in court on Friday, where he faces federal charges.
Investigators say 47-year-old Andrew Sandvik made several online social media posts that contained violent threats towards the president, as well as the director of the FBI and the Secret Service.
Sandvick was arrested on Thursday following an investigation by local, state and federal law enforcement, as well as the FBI.
“As alleged in the complaint, Sandvik made threats against President Donald J. Trump, FBI Director Kash Patel, local law enforcement officers and the U.S. military,” said FBI Minneapolis Special Agent in Charge Alvin M. Winston, Sr. “Death threats and violent, inflammatory rhetoric
