Milder temperatures are here for a couple of days after some of the coldest temps of the season Friday morning across the coastal towns.

Temps remain in the 40s to 50s through the night as clouds thicken up, and as a warm front is to our north. This means a southerly wind picks up Friday evening and will also help boost our temps overnight.

There is an ongoing wintry mix across northern New England and in the mountains. The valleys are all rain.

Scattered rain heads into Boston later Friday night and for Saturday morning. By late afternoon Saturday, the sky clears, rain heads offshore and the sun peeks through.
