Agartala, 7 th November 2025: Teachers under Tripura’s Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) have announced plans for a large-scale agitation, accusing the state government of failing to implement a High Court order regarding their regularization and instead shifting blame onto the educators. The warning came during a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club today, where Santu Das, president of the Tripura SSA Employees’ Association, outlined the group’s next steps.
Das recalled that in 2015, during the tenure of the then Left Front government, SSA teachers filed a petition in the Tripura High Court demanding regularization of their services.
