Jeff Choate admits this season has worn him down, and last week’s bye was a much-needed break for the Nevada football coach.
Nevada was back at work this week and will travel to Logan, Utah to play Utah State. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Nevada has one win this season, over Sacramento State, that one thanks to a last-minute interception returned for a touchdown by Wolf Pack defensive lineman Johnathan Maldonado.
"It’s been tough. There’s been a lot of things that have happened, both internally and externally that, when you’re leading an organization, you’ve got to hold things together,” Choate said. “I needed a little break too. It was good for me to gain some perspective and get away from the game for a minute.”
Choate said he attended the Nevada Day Parade in Carson City
