PNC Bank announced Friday Nashville is among the key markets where it will significantly expand its branch network, with the addition of 35 branches scheduled to open in the area by 2030.
The expansion is part of a larger announcement by the bank to open more than 300 branches by 2030 — an increase of 100 new branches previously announced last November, according to a release.
Total branch investment is projected to be $2 billion.
The expansion will exponentially grow PNC’s presence in Middle Tennessee. The bank currently operates six branches in the region: downtown (see here ), Antioch, Franklin, Green Hills, Hendersonville and Murfreesboro.
