A man has been arrested in an attack that injured a convenience store clerk on Halloween night in Lynn, Massachusetts, police said Friday.

Joshua Mora, 22, was arrested on Friday with the help of state police on charges of armed robbery, assault and battery and malicious destruction of property, Lynn police said.

The assault at the Richdale Convenience Store on Chatham Street was reported as a fight about 7:21 p.m. on Halloween, police said. Items were stolen and the clerk was severely attacked, for which he was sent to the hospital.

Video of the assault shared with NBC10 Boston showed a person in a hooded sweatshirt go over the counter and beat the clerk. Police said the worker had significant injuries.
