Patti Smith appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night (November 6) to discuss her new memoir, Bread of Angels , and some of the career-spanning anecdotes featured therein. In the extended chat with host Stephen Colbert , she discussed her National Book Award win for Just Kids , her relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe, the 50th anniversary of Horses , the arrival of the new book in a dream, and more.
