FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Another college football rivalry will soon play at Gillette Stadium for the first time.
The Navy-Notre Dame game will be held in Foxboro for the first time in the 99-game series on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.
The matchup will be the Fighting Irish’s first time playing at Gillette and the Midshipmen’s second appearance.
Navy will be the home team for the game.
The series between Navy and Notre Dame dates back to 1927 and was the longest continuous intersectional rivalry in college football until the game was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The two teams will square off in the 98th playing on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m.
