A man has been accused of operating a drug factory in Bridgeport after investigators searched a trailer and allegedly found more than 200 grams of cocaine.

The search was carried out Thursday shortly before 2 p.m. at a property located at 3 Armstrong Place where authorities had a search and seizure warrant, according to Lt. Jonathan A. Duharte of the Bridgeport Police Department .

Duharte said the search was conducted by the police department’s Narcotics and Vice Division and turned up 234 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials and $1,366.

Investigators believe 65-year-old Carlos Batista of Bridgeport was allegedly dealing “large amounts” of cocaine from a trailer on his property, according to Duharte.
