Some lanes of King Street West in Chatham will close starting Monday as reconstruction work continues, Chatham-Kent officials say.

The westbound lane will be closed west of Lacroix street, officials said in a release. The northbound left turn lane on Lacroix also will be shut.

As a result, traffic heading south on Lacroix Street won’t be permitted to turn right onto King Street West. King West east of Lacroix will remain closed.

The closing is expected to last until Nov. 21, but through traffic north and south on Lacroix will be maintained.

“Motorists are advised to follow construction detour signage at all times as the dates of the closures may change as work progresses,” officials said.
