Warm and windy today with temperatures in the 60s before our first winter blast of the season arrives on Saturday. Rain mixing with snow is expected across much of the area, especially during the morning hours.

A cold front will push across the state this evening, pushing the mild air that we have been enjoying out of the area, dropping temperatures into the upper 30s and low 40s by morning. At the same time, moisture will begin to increase from west to east as a storm system pushes in from the Dakotas.
