The Detroit Lions could have pulled D.J. Reed off injured reserve this week. After all, the team’s top cornerback had already sat out the minimum four games, which made him eligible to rejoin the active roster. But Reed has yet to complete a full recovery from the strained hamstring he suffered during a Sept. 28 victory over the Cleveland Browns .

“He’s getting better and better,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said Friday, Nov. 7.
