A disciplinary committee is to decide what to do about separate findings of misbehaviour against two Grey County appointees on the Grey Bruce Public Health board of directors.
A workplace investigation summary report by lawyer Nathaniel Marshall dated Aug. 25 said he was retained on April 25 to look into board chair Nick Saunders’ complaints that board members Kevin Eccles and Sue Carleton subjected him to disrespectful conduct, harassment, and racial discrimination.

The investigation, initiated by the health unit, concluded Eccles, the mayor of West Grey, violated his obligation under the GBPH Code of Conduct to treat Saunders with dignity and professional respect. Eccles did not engage in harassment or discrimination, the investigator concluded.
