Orillia OPP have made two arrests in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.
This past summer, Orillia Street Crime Unit received information about drug trafficking in Orillia.
A combination of physical and technological surveillance led to investigators having grounds to arrest the suspects and obtained search warrants for an associated address.
Yesterday OPP stopped a vehicle on Hwy 11 northbound- two people – one from Windsor, the other from Brampton were arrested – drugs including cocaine and mushrooms were seized from the vehicle and the address. Both face a number of charges.
