Director Shawn Levy reflected on his return to Hawkins, Indiana for one last adventure at the Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 premiere last night, revealing that he did direct two episodes later on in the season.

Levy, who has executive produced the series from its inception with Dan Cohen through his 21 Laps Entertainment banner, even had with a small cameo in Season 1 Episode 4, “The Body.”

“Like always, I direct two episodes every season, but because of Deadpool & Wolverine I couldn’t do 3 and 4 like I’ve done every year. So I directed 6 and I co-directed Episode 7 with the Duffer brothers,” Levy told Deadline on the red carpet. “Which is the first time that we’ve shared directing duties.
