BRAINERD — The weather should be just about right as hundreds of thousands of deer hunters make their way into the woods Saturday, Nov. 8, for the opening of Minnesota firearms deer hunting season.
Cold temperatures and lack of rain should make for an even better opening weekend for hunters in the Brainerd lakes area. For those in northern, eastern and southern Minnesota, chances of rain this weekend could put a damper on things.
