Given everyone is trying to save money on grocery bills these days, it’s good to know two central Pa. grocery store chains are offering free turkey promotions.

The Giant Company and Weis Markets are offering promotions ahead of Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 27.

Traditionally over the holidays supermarkets give loyalty club members an opportunity to redeem shopping points toward the purchase of turkeys and other items.

Shoppers have to earn a certain number of points to take advantage of the promotions.
