A 35-year-old Perry County man was charged with six felonies this week after police said he received nude pictures online and solicited sex from a 12-year-old girl in exchange for gift cards.

After interviewing the victim in October 2022, a detective in Burlington, Massachusetts passed the case along to police in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, where the suspect, Joshua H. Kenee, lived at the time.

The Massachusetts detective previously served a search warrant to Discord — a popular voice, video, and text chat platform — for chat logs between the victim and a deleted account later linked to Kenee.

Kenee and the victim exchanged messages on Discord between Sept. 9, 2021 and Sept. 21, 2021, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Police said the roughly 400 messages, many of
