YORK — A two week wait to begin the District 3 Class 6A tournament, courtesy of a first-round bye, didn’t hamper the top-seeded Central York football team.
Especially unaffected were the duo of quarterback Brooklyn Nace and wide receiver Brendyn Smith, who connected five times for touchdown passes in a 42-7 quarterfinal victory over eighth-seeded Cedar Cliff Friday night.
