Farmer’s Almanac is saying goodbye to its reader base.
The 2026 edition of the publication will be the last of the 200-year-old publication, Farmer’s Almanac staff said in a statement .
“After more than 200 years of sharing a unique blend of weather, wit and wisdom, we’ve made the very difficult decision to write the final chapter of this historical publication,” the statement reads.
The statement did not point to a specific reason as to why the publication is ending.
Publishing every year since 1818, the series previews the weather for the following 12 months after publication and provides suggestions on farming, gardening, cooking, fishing and maintaining your household, among other things, according to their official website .
