The Warren Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run crash.

The incident occurred at 3 p.m. Nov. 5 in the area of Timken Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. Two teenage brothers were riding a bicycle when they were hit by a dark-colored Chevy Equinox.

According to a press release, witnesses at the scene said that the driver initially stopped to check on the victims but then drove away as emergency sirens sounded.

Both teenagers were transported to a nearby hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

The press release identifies the driver of the vehicle as a light-skinned Black woman with green hair. She was alone in the car at the time of the crash, police added.
