COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football might see five players from its current roster selected in the top 10 of the NFL draft.

The Athletic recently released a mock of the 2026 NFL Draft. In it, OSU linebacker Arvell Reese is the projected top pick.

Safety Caleb Downs was projected to go fifth overall while receiver Carnell Tate checked in at No. 10.

While impressive, the feat wouldn’t be unheard of. Alabama had three players — receiver Jaylen Waddle, defensive back Pat Surtain and receiver DeVonta Smith — taken in the top 10 of the 2021 NFL draft.

However, Ohio State’s elite talent extends beyond the upcoming draft class.
