MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A wanted Cleveland man, 34, was arrested Oct. 25 after he caused a disturbance at Speedway, 17650 Bagley Road.
The man had argued with other customers and a Speedway worker inside the store. Someone called police about the man, who drove away in a Ford Escape.
Police arrived and spotted the Escape leaving the Speedway parking lot.
The man turned left onto Bagley recklessly, nearly causing a crash. Police pulled over the car on Bagley near Interstate 71.
A woman in the Escape’s passenger seat loudly explained what had happened at Speedway.
The man said he wasn’t carrying his driver’s license. He said he didn’t know his Social Security number.
Police asked the man to step out of the car. When asked to identify himself, the man provided a name that police lat
