“People can't wait around for the government to figure out what they're doing with SNAP — we're doing what we can to supplement actual nutrition to as many neighbors as possible," Pete Novajosky, Director of Fairgate Farm, said.
Fresh produce grown at Fairgate Farm will be available to Stamford residents free of charge, as long as the food lasts, according to the farm.
The farm also encourages visitors to bring a bag.
