On Friday, Governor Josh Shapiro spoke about the availability of SNAP benefits for Pennsylvanians following the commonwealth's court victory, directing the Trump Administration to fully fund SNAP payments for November.
During the press conference, Shapiro discussed how Pennsylvania Secretary of Human Services (DHS) Dr. Val Arkoosh's swiftness was what was needed to quickly get the funds flowing to those who receive SNAP benefits. He went on to state that he and his team plan that by Saturday morning, all Pennsylvania SNAP recipients who are expecting benefits will have money on their cards according to their individually expected schedules.
