CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department handled a variety of incidents on Thursday, November 6, 2025, according to the department’s daily media log. Reports ranged from child endangerment and drug possession to multiple theft investigations and welfare checks across the city.

Officers first responded shortly after midnight to East Water Street , where a citizen contact led to a report of possession of drugs .

Later that morning, at 6:32 a.m. , police took a troubling report from Nationwide Children’s Hospital involving a three-month-old child who tested positive for narcotics . The incident is believed to have occurred in the 200 block of West Water Street and remains under active investigation.
