HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Highlands County doctor who is accused of inappropriately touching his colleagues and patients may have had several more victims, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies said multiple other victims came forward following news of Dr. Jorge Zeledon's potential misconduct in August, and they believe there might still be more victims out there.
The additional allegations resulted in 10 new cases, according to the Highlands County Sheriff's Office. Even more potential victims were identified, but officials said the statute of limitations had expired on their complaints.
Zeledon is accused of having "unwanted contact" with multiple people while on the job, though officials have not described the extent of the allegations against him any further.
