Music City got plenty of nods in the 2026 Grammy nominations. From country to children’s music, current, former and honorary Nashvillians were celebrated on the Recording Academy’s list, announced Friday morning.
Country squire Tyler Childers led the genre’s pack with four nominations, including Best Country Solo Performance for “Nose on the Grindstone,” Best Country Song for “Bitin’ List” and Best Contemporary Country Album for Snipe Hunter . He also received a co-nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Margo Price for their duet “Love Me Like You Used to Do.”
Shaboozey, meanwhile, was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for “Good News,” as well as Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Jelly Roll for “Amen.” Rising songsmith Jesse Welle
