LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The man accused of going on a shooting spree across the Las Vegas valley -- which includes allegations of shooting a teenager, a police building, and several hotels -- is not competent to stand trial, a judge ruled Friday.
Hector Rodriguez, 36, faces several charges, including 28 counts of discharging a gun into a structure and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon, records said.
North Las Vegas police arrested Rodriguez on Sept. 26 after police said he shot toward them and then led them on a high-speed chase, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained.
Throughout September, Rodriguez allegedly shot at a North Las Vegas police traffic building, a 13-year-old walking home from school, and other buildings, documents said.
