HUGHESVILLE, Pa. — The Hughesville Area High School soccer fields are empty now, but this weekend they'll be filled with youth soccer players competing against one another in United Goals USA's Veterans Day Freedom Cup. The tournament will raise money for the PA Wounded Warrior Project ahead of Veterans Day.

"Our area needs a postseason youth soccer tournament to play, and we just wanted to find a good cause to support through it and Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors is a wonderful organization, and what they do we firmly believe in," said Colin Gorini, United Goals USA Founder.

85 teams with players ranging in age from eight to eighteen years old from upstate New York, Eastern and Central Pennsylvania will be coming together to support veterans who gave their all.
