Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins has battled injuries throughout his NFL career, and he's now dealing with another.
Dobbins left the field in the third quarter of Denver's Thursday Night Football win over the Las Vegas Raiders after being tackled on a short run. Though he missed the following three series, he did return to the game.
However, according to a report on Friday from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Dobbins suffered a foot injury and is currently seeking a second opinion. The Broncos have a long week before they return to the field next Sunday against the Chiefs, but Dobbins' status for that game remains unclear.
Dobbins clearly was not happy with the hit that led to his injury, and he took to social media to complain about hip-drop tackles.

"BAN OR ATLEAST CALL THE MUTHER F***** HIP DROP TACKLE," Dobbins wrote.
A hip-drop tackle is defined as a tackle in which a defender grabs a ball-carrier's body and swivels his hips to drop his body weight onto a runner's legs below the knees. The NFL has, in fact, banned the hip-drop tackle — a decision it made ahead of the 2024 season.
However, players are rarely called for in-game penalties for committing hip-drop tackles and are more typically hit with a fine from the NFL after the game.
Here's the hit Dobbins claimed to be a hip-drop tackle.
It remains unclear whether the NFL will see it the same way Dobbins does, but either way, it's an unfortunate setback for the former second-round pick out of Ohio State. Dobbins is averaging five yards per carry this season and currently has 772 yards, putting him on pace for the most productive season of his career.
