President Trump is slated to attend the Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions game on Sunday, according to the White House.

Trump will be seated in Commanders’ owner, Josh Harris’s box, sports commentator Pat McAfee said during the announcement on ESPN.

The president is also expected to honor American veterans during halftime, a White House official told NewsNation, The Hill’s sister outlet.

His attendance at the game signals comes as Trump has ramped up his presence in the sports world since returning to the White House.

In February, he became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl, when the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans. A week later, Trump was also spotted at the Daytona 500 speedway and took laps around the racetrack in his motorcade
