A 15-year-old boy was arrested after a fight at a Hudson Valley high school ended with a 14-year-old being slashed with a razor blade, officials said Friday.

The violent altercation took place at Valley Central High School in the Town of Montgomery on Thursday and resulted in injuries to both students, according to Montgomery Police Chief John Hank.

The situation was immediately contained by MTPD school resource officers, security guards and the director of security, Hank said, with Montgomery police officers also responding.

Cops said an ambulance was called, but neither student was transported. However, The 14-year-old victim was later taken to the hospital by his family.
