WILLISTON, Fla. (WCJB) — NTSB officials released a preliminary report into the deadly plane crash in Williston that killed three people in early October.
According to the report, the pilot was flying two passengers back to Florida after a hunting trip in Kentucky. It does not detail exactly what led to the crash, which ended with the plane crashing in a peanut field.
The plane made a steep descent, plunging 4,000 feet per minute. The investigation is ongoing.
Jacob Harnett and his 11-year-old son Carter, were the passengers on board killed . The pilot who died was 33-year-old Spencer Arnold.
