Backyard sauna fire in Wisconsin causes some damage to wall and ceiling panels

HAYWARD, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials in Wisconsin said crews were able to prevent extensive damage after responding to a reported backyard sauna fire.

The Hayward Fire Department reported that crews were sent on Friday morning to the reported sauna fire.

According to the release, crews at the scene found flames in the walls and ceilings of a small sauna in a backyard. The photos showed clear black spots all over the wall panels.

Officials added that the fire was fully extinguished before extensive damage could occur.
