AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) - One man has died after a motor vehicle collision on November 1st.

According to the Aiken County Coroner's Office, the accident happened at 11:15 P.M. on the intersection of Whiskey Road and Pine Log Road.

According to authorities, Keith Patterson, 73, of Aiken, was the driver of a 2011 Ford Edge, and he was traveling South on Whiskey Road where he collided with a 1996 Chevrolet SUV.

According to the Coroner's Office, Patterson was transported to Wellstar MCG Health where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 3:55 P.M. on November 6th.

The Aiken County Coroner's Office and The Aiken Department of Public safety are continuing with this investigation.
