Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto has voted 14 times to end the federal government shutdown.
That number is expected to go up even more as additional Senate votes are expected over the weekend.
The votes are for "continuing resolutions" that would open the federal government by releasing funds at previous levels.
Each day, the shutdown continues to break the record for the longest in history. It started Oct. 1 and has caused flight cancellations across the country, interruption of food benefits and no pay for hundreds of thousands of furloughed federal workers.
