EAGLE PASS, Tex. (KGNS) - Two people were reportedly injured in a shooting at a shopping center in Eagle Pass, according to an article by WOAI .
The shooting took place at around 3:15 p.m. at Mall de las Águilas, sending shoppers running for cover and prompting employees to lock store doors, eyewitnesses said.
Eagle Pass Police later stated that the scene had been secured after a shooting occurred between two men in the parking lot. They also confirmed that there is no active threat or shooter and that the community is not in danger at this time.
Both victims were taken to the emergency room with injuries, the Eagle Pass News Leader reported , citing confidential sources.
