PLYMOUTH COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) - A teenager is accused of leading officers on a pursuit in Northwest Iowa.
On Wednesday, Nov. 5, 19-year-old Maksym Trokhymchuk of Lincoln, Nebraska, was arrested after the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint.
According to the sheriff’s office, the complaint was about a car driving south on Highway 60. The sheriff’s office says a deputy in the area found the car and turned around to observe its behavior.
Law enforcement says the car immediately accelerated and took the Highway 3 exit. The car ran the stop sign at the top of the exit ramp and turned west on Highway 3, according to a press release by the sheriff’s office.
