Six people were injured Thursday after a vehicle crashed into a Bloomfield Township restaurant, police said.
The building, which is located in a shopping center, will remain closed until repairs are made and officials can determine its structural soundness, according to authorities.
The crash happened at about 1:40 p.m. on Telegraph Road north of Long Lake Road, according to authorities.
Bloomfield Township police said a vehicle driven by a 77-year-old Bloomfield Hills woman crashed into the storefront of Thai Taste to Go.
Police officers and firefighters were called to the business, they said. Five people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, investigators said. Another person was treated at the scene and released.
