ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — With robberies, assaults, and even attempted homicide, postal workers in Rochester are facing more threats today than ever before. Congressman Joe Morelle visited Rochester Friday to discuss a bill he’s co-sponsoring he says will help to better protect our mail carriers.

The investigations into these assaults and robberies are still ongoing. There’s even a $150,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the attempted homicide of a USPS employee. But Congressman Morelle, along with others, is working to prevent future attacks from happening in the first place.
