DETROIT, Mich. (WILX) - A freighter ship has run itself aground in the Detroit River.

Video feeds show the ship stuck in front of the Renaissance Center in Detroit.

The ship, named The MV Right Honorable Jay Martin and was on its way to Quebec from Sault Ste. Marie.

It’s unclear why the ship ran aground, or what it was carrying.
