Chattanooga Public Works is in the process of picking up your leaves to make sure storm drains remain unclogged during severe weather overnight.

You may remember the clogged storm drains as one of the contributing factors to the flooding in and around the Tennessee Valley back in August.

Although flooding is not expected this weekend, Director of Citywide Services Ricky Colston says Public Works crews still encourage everybody to get their leaves picked up - and the process is easy. All you have to do is start by calling 3-1-1.
