POTTSVILLE, Pa. — In this week's 16 To The Rescue, we meet a 3-year-old pit bull who was found as a stray almost a year ago.

"November 28, he came in, so it's coming up on a year," said Haley Weist, Hillside SPCA.

That is an anniversary that rescue workers at the Hillside SPCA near Pottsville do not want to celebrate. They love Croissant, but they want him out of there. Croissant has a funny back story, which is how he got his name.

"He was actually found in Boyer's supermarket, like in the store, running around. Nobody's come to look for him or anything. He's been promoted all over. Still, nobody's come to claim and nobody's come to look at him, and he's the cutest dog you'll ever see," Weist said.
